About KinPace
KinPace is a medication and dose tracker for Android, built around a rolling 24-hour window from your last dose, not a fixed time of day.
Why I built it
I spent five years alternating medications by hand for a long-term hip issue — logging every dose in a spreadsheet and tracking my progress on how much I was taking and how long each dose actually lasted me. KinPace is the tool I built so I'd never have to keep that spreadsheet again.
Alternating between medications means keeping several clocks in your head: when each one was last taken, how long you have to wait, and how many you've had today. A generic pill reminder doesn't help, because the right time depends on when you actually took your last dose, not on the time of day.
So KinPace counts from your last dose. You tell it each medication's minimum interval and maximum doses per 24 hours, build a plan, and log doses with one tap. It shows what's next and when it's available, and keeps the history so you can see how long each dose really lasts over time.
What it stands for
Honest about its limits
It follows the limits you set. It doesn't decide what's safe for you, and it says so. Check your limits against your doctor's advice or the packet before you save them.
Private by design
Your records stay on your phone. No account, no ads, no analytics, and the app doesn't connect to the internet. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Useful for one medication or several
It was shaped by alternating between medications, but it works just as well if you take a single one and want a clear record of intervals and your daily limit.
What it isn't
It isn't a doctor, a pharmacist or a replacement for either. It isn't for medication you take at the same time every day regardless of symptoms, such as a morning vitamin. A simple reminder app suits that better.
Where it's at
KinPace is not published yet and is planned for Android. Price hasn't been announced. A family mode and a home-screen widget are planned for Q1 2027 but not built yet. You can see what's included on the home page, and the FAQ answers the common questions.
